Last night marked the final episode of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. After 22 years, Leno realized that it was time to leave the desk and pass it down to a new generation. No one is more excited then me to see Jimmy Fallon take over the coveted 11:35 time slot on NBC, but seeing Leno get choked up saying a final goodbye to his audience last night did cause a bit of nostalgia. Leno was a key player on late night television and he will be missed. In the words of Johnny Carson, "I bid you all a heartfelt goodnight." Its a known fact that this year's Super Bowl was a giant snoozer. But leave it to one lady to bring the laughs on Twitter. That lady's name is Hilary Clinton. This is just another reason why she is one of the best people in politics. This week I was introduced to a show called The Following, and since I started watching it I can not turn it off. It is one of those shows that will have you up till 4 A.M. because you have to know what happens next. The show is about an ex FBI agent, Ryan Hardy, played by Kevin Bacon, who spent most of his professional career trying to track down a serial killer named Joe Carol. Hardy becomes obsessed with finding Carol and is successful in finding him. Carol gets locked away for eight years, but the show starts eight years after that when Carol escapes prison. The FBI calls Hardy back to help them find Carol again seeing as know one else knows the inner workings of Carol better then him. It is brilliantly written, fast paced, extremely thrilling and when you think you know what happens next you really don't. The Following premiered on Fox last year, and the entire first season is on Netflix. Season 2 is currently being shown on Fox.
